Create a skin

A skin is a CSS stylesheet plus the settings applied to the site when it is installed.

Before you submit

Every submission is reviewed before it goes anywhere, so keep the following in mind:

  • The CSS you upload is used exactly as it is

    Make sure it is minified. The limit is 512,000 characters.

  • @import directives are not allowed

    An @import would pull CSS from another server, and that file could change at any time without passing review. We only serve the CSS you upload.

  • url() must point at https addresses

    Every site is served over https, so a browser would block anything loaded over http. Small data: URIs work too.

  • Staff review every version

    A skin only reaches the gallery once the Rolea team has approved it.
